Christmas: Closed To Sam
Dec. 25th, 2015 07:35 pmChristmas had always been a great time for Roosevelt. He was close to his family and being an only child had meant a lot of the focus had been on him. His family had always been big on charity events too so the week leading up to Christmas was super busy with all sorts of different activities.
This year was a bit different though. This year Samantha was a part of his family and his parents may have gone a bit overboard with presents for a child that hadn't even been born yet. From what he could tell Samantha wasn't scared off though and seemed genuinely touched to be included. Roosevelt's mother was delighted to have another woman around the house.
After spending the morning and lunch with his family though Roosevelt and Samantha had begged off and gone back to her place to exchange the gifts they had gotten for each other. Stripping off all the layers he had worn to fight off the cold Roosevelt collapsed on the couch in front of the tree and held his arms out to Samantha.
